Amylon - the potato range

Vysocina is a beautiful region, and I find it especially pleasant to have meetings there. The most common local product, beside the trees to embrace, is the potato. Vast fields of potatoes. It is not a surprise that this region is a home to the Amylon brand, which has starch in its name.

The cooperation on the Prague – Vysocina axis started in the best possible way. The client had approached us on her own, thanks to the previous experience of a different (beer) brand. The experience was then apparently so inspiring that after the return from a maternity leave of several years, the client decided to contact us directly in order to redesign the portfolio of Amylon’s traditional brand. I’d like to take this opportunity once again to say thank you, Martina. For me as an account manager, it’s just great to hear that somebody will remember our work even after a five-year break ☺

As it is often the case, from the initially intended light redesign and mere straightening of the packages we moved all the way to the logo redesign. Again, the logo redesign was meant to be just unification across the portfolio. However, we ended up with an interconnection of the brand with the persona of “an honest housewife from the good old times”. At the moment the client herself started to call her “Amylka,” it was clear to us that this nice girl would feel herself in Vysocina at home.

From that moment on, the redesign of the whole portfolio of the potato products really took off. Along with face-lifting and making it more engaging, the package was altered in order to make it fully visible on the shelf, along with the cartoons (SRP). It’s a real pleasure for us that it was not the end of our cooperation. We’re currently working on other product ranges. However, now Amylka herself will make sure that it will be the same high-quality work the Amylon brand consumers have been used to since 1912. Believe me, this lady does not permit any compromises!
